The Boston Tea Party was a political and mercantile protest by the Sons of Liberty in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 16, 1773.[1] The target was the Tea Act of May 10, 1773, which allowed the British East India company to sell tea from China in American colonies without paying taxes apart from those imposed by the Townshend Acts. American Patriots strongly opposed the taxes in the Townshend Act as a violation of their rights. Demonstrators, some disguised as Native Americans, destroyed an entire shipment of tea sent by the East India Company. They boarded the ships and threw the chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. The British government responded harshly and the episode escalated into the American Revolution. The Tea Party became an iconic event of American history, and since then other political protests such as the Tea Party movement have referred to themselves as historical successors to the Boston protest of 1773.

Halloween or Hallowe’en (a contraction of Hallows’ Even or Hallows’ Evening), also known as Allhalloween, All Hallows’ Eve, or All Saints’ Eve, is a celebration observed in several countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. It is widely believed that many Halloween traditions originated from ancient Celtic harvest festivals, particularly the Gaelic festival Samhain; that such festivals may have had pagan roots; and that Samhain itself was Christianized as Halloween by the early Church.Some believe, however, that Halloween began solely as a Christian holiday, separate from ancient festivals like Samhain.Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related guising and souling), attending Halloween costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, divination games, playing pranks, visiting haunted attractions, telling scary stories, as well as watching horror films. In many parts of the world, the Christian religious observances of All Hallows’ Eve, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead, remain popular, although elsewhere it is a more commercial and secular celebration. Some Christians historically abstained from meat on All Hallows’ Eve, a tradition reflected in the eating of certain vegetarian foods on this vigil day, including apples, potato pancakes, and soul cakes.

Ահա և ավաարտվեց մեր եռամսյա արձակուրդը և սկսվեց նոր ուսումնական տարին։ Մեծ ոգևորությամբընդունվեցի ավագ դպրոց՝ բազում գիտելիքներ ձեռք բերելու նպատակով։ Շատ յուրօրինակ սկսվեց մեր դպրոցիառօրյան։ Մենք մի խումբ աշակերտներով ուղևորվեցինք Սևան։ Շատ տպավորիչ և հետաքրքիր անցավ մերեռօրյա ճանբարը։ Մեր ազատ ժամանակը վայելում էինք վրանների տակ։ Հավաքվել էինք տարբերտարածաշրջանների աշակերտներով և պատմում էինք հետաքրքիր ու զվարճալի պատմություններ։ Շատգեղեցիկ էր բնությունը՝ կապուտաչյա Սևանը, սարերը և անկրկնելի մայրամուտը։ Իմ կարծիքով այս երեք օրվաընքացքում, մենք հասցրեցինք միմյանց հետ մտերմանալ և լավ տպավորություններով վեարադառնալ Երևան՝սկսելու նոր ուսումնական տարին։
